Proof that size does not matter

The big female is a shepard/border collie mix and the little guy is a pug/chihuahua mix. He weighs about 10 pounds and she weighs about a hundred pounds. And they are in love with each other. Play constantly until they wear each other out and then they go to sleep together. If there is such a thing as two dogs loving each other this is the best example I have ever found. They are inseparable. Both about the same age too. About 4 years old now. Some photo isn't it?

Always thought that had to be unusual for a combination - those 2 breeds hooking up.

... and then left to their own devices they would have produced a litter of puppies when the time was right.

Sure as I am sitting here.

So no argument over who is top dog? Does that ever happen between males and females anyway?

But obviously that is only because she wants it that way. He is her little stud muffin.

Yeah, Billy is a damn good little dog too. Sheds a lot. But he has a perfect temperament. He just wants to be friends with everyone. It is like he has dedicated his entire life to making everyone around him love him and sleeping. He likes his sleep. Got to drag him out of the bed in the morning. Especially when it is cold.

I just go nom nom on her ears. She loves it. Ours is more Chi so she doesn't shed as much.

You are soo right about wanting to be friends. She loves everybody.

... had really pretty, but SMALL hands. She was dainty herself, so they were nicely
proportioned. I told her that, laughing as I bet her that she didn't play the piano
(she didn't) and laughing even harder when I told her that if she were a guy, right
then she'd be telling me very sternly that "It's not true what they say about guys
with small hands!!!"
.
She started laughing and said, in a really deep, gruff voice (for her), "IT'S NOT TRUE
WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT GUYS WITH SMALL HANDS!!!"

.
Two other techs peeked into the room to see why we were laughing so hard.

We have five dogs. One of them is an eleven year old pointer who is pretty much blind. She can see movement but that's about it. The newest is a four year old cattle dog that we adopted about 2 years ago. He is her "seeing eye dog". If he's not around she freezes until I get close to her and she sees me move. It's cute watching them together.
