Last night a friend said her daughter was pregnant. I thought it was a daughter living in CA. It wasn't, but
I still would like to know.

(28,941 posts)Under the law at that time there were four requirements for an individual born outside of the US or its territories to be a natural citizen.
1. Parents married at time of birth
2. At least one parent a US citizen
3. That parent has lived in US minimum of 10 years
4. Parent lived a minimum of five years in US after age 14
If Cruz' s mother met those requirements, he can run.
