I will try to remember all this the next time I am at a bus stop in January and can no longer feel my toes.
Honestly, I'd never lived outside the state until I toddled off to law school in Boston back in 1985. Garrison Keillor kept me sane for three years. Two hours a week it was like going home.

I love Minnesota but I would wager that when one thinks of butter sculpture and state fairs, one thinks of your friends to the south...
I'll be up there in a couple weeks to visit friends. We'll have to have a little chat about this butter sculpture business.

I haven't been to the IA state fair in about 7 years. Of course, when we were there, we stood in line to see the butter cow. They also had a butter Harry Potter.
