Years ago, I met Richard Viguerie, and he turned out to be a nice guy.

Politically, he's the Prince of Darkness and 101% whacko, but he's a nice guy nevertheless, and here I was prepared to hate his guts and want to shove him off the nearest skyscraper (a little difficult, as we were in Charleston, SC, not known for its skyscrapers).
