I'm in the middle of making chicken masala for tomorrow to take to the mother-in-laws (because of the article about the food poisoning -- gave me the idea (to make the chicken, not to poison the MIL)) and the table is littered with spices and cans of coconut milk and onions. Smells good.

I usually bring food over to her house when we visit on weekends so she can have a little variety. She lives alone and eats the same things all the time. I was wondering what to make yesterday when I saw the story about how attendees of a food safety conference got food poisoning from the Chicken Marsala, so I looked up the recipe and typed it in wrong and got Chicken Tikka Masala instead, which looked awfully good. The rest is history.

My husband often accuses me of poisoning him, however, but that's another story.
