only been a couple times and I'm glad I didn't have to pay but they do know how to make a steak.

One of my favorite childhood memories was coming to Florida on vacation and my dad taking me to Steak and Shake but now that I live here and can go any time I want it seems to be less interesting. I still like their chocolate malts though.

that don't marinate their meats in pineapple or papaya enzymes to tenderize them. They get their fine meat the old fashion way: They marry the butcher's sister.

I only saw one at a mall food court (where they all have prices and menus on the walls). And yes the hipster part is true.

Go to a lot of the other big chains with my elderly parents, everything tastes like it is a frozen microwave thing...because it is!

Sizzler, Applebee's, Red Lobster, Arby's, Togos, Boston Market, and Panda Express. What can I say...I'm too broke/cheap to eat out much of the time.

Qdoba and In-N-Out are the only two I have NOT been to.

As for Shoneys Big Boy, I have been to both Shoney's and Frisch's Big Boys but I never went to a Bob's Big Boy - they were too far west.

The chain I miss the most is Jack In The Box. I know they are terrible but I love their ultimate burger, breakfast jack and super tacos. (They were large super tacos when I was a kid - now they are just 2 regular size tacos but same fried concept and flavor). There aren't any within several hundred miles of me as far as I know.
