There are days, well honestly, many years that go by that don't impact my banjo pick'n

I've found major media to have ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST in the workings of ol' timey banjo.

Which isn't to say the internets and social media have not made in-roads...cuz, frankly, they HAVE.

But you know, that old' bum-ditty, bumpa ditty it just keeps bumpa-ditty-ing along.

The movers and shakers of politics don't really care about how that mournful 7th on the g-string in Shady Grove tuning sounds.

Somedays that seems unwise and down-right un-folksy.

Don't cha know?

I knew a girl years ago that played a style she called "frailing". Is that clawhammer? She played sea shanties.
I'm mostly into blues, but try to play all genres. Rock, country, bluegrass, jazz, samba. classical. Hmm. no heavy metal though...
