Greg survived a serious motorcycle wreck about 13 years ago, and definitely understood his mortality, just had a hard time coming to terms with it i think

(53,339 posts)I lost my dad at that age. And my little brother older than that but a complete surprise. It can come totally unexpected, out of the blue. But whether expected or not, it's a loss.

unfortunately his health issues were more due to his own excesses.
many of us often feel like there's plenty of time to turn things around - not always the case
