... I made a mental note about what appeared to be a one-issue poster (guns maybe? I can't recall). At least one of his/her posts seemed to me to be controversial, enough that I took a mental note of the user name.

Then I noticed the poster making two goofy posts in the lounge early almost every morning, but never saw any other posts from him/her throughout the day.


I'm suspicious by nature, so feel free to dismiss my intuition on this.

Pretty sure My Good Babushka is a she-person, married to one of DU's long-timers.

but I don't think that's her. She usually posted stuff about old superstitions and where they came from in an interesting, historical context. She also is a damn fine artist. I subscribe to her Tumblr to see her art and read her factoids about where modern beliefs started.

She said a while back that she was going to concentrate more on art and Tumblr than DU as she is also a mother and only has so much time in the day.

She is the master of arcane trivia.
