Michigan bank hates Ohio State so much it won't close for Columbus Day

We will not be closed for Columbus Day today because Columbus is in Ohio.

Michigan is a school in Ann Arbor, Mich. Ohio State is a school in Columbus, Ohio. They hate each other.

Of all the reasons not to observe Columbus Day, this is certainly one of them!

I got to see that rivalry when I spent some time volunteering in the Kerry campaign in Ohio. People I met there got me into the championship '04 game to see the Buckeyes beat Michigan. Once in a while now I'll tune into an OSU game wearing the Buckeyes cap my friends souvenired me. But some folks take that stuff WAY too seriously.
