If all else fails, read the directions.

So I think I'm figuring out that plastic loop that attaches a luggage tag to the handle of a bag.

You know, this kind of tag

It's all easy peasy. And then I get to the part where an illustration shows an arrow indicating that you pass the card through the loop. Ah, but the loop is way too short for the tag to fit through the loop.

Then I turn in desperation to the dread written "directions" and find the following sentence

"Luggage tag flexes when passed through the loop."

My husband, who had the same dilemma, thought I was a genius.

directions, or I don't read them thoroughly.

However, that said, these plastic loops are a PITA even if the tag itself bends without breaking. You sometimes have to really maneuver to get the tag in. However, they stay on very well, which is what is important.
