Saw Erasure in concert a few nights ago. It was magical!!!

I'd never had the chance to see them before.

They opened with "Oh l'Amour" and closed with "Sometimes."

They did every song I could have hoped for, with the exception of "Stop!"

They did several songs off their new album "The Violet Flame." Which is REALLY Good and is a must buy if you like synth pop at all.

I think it's just really cool that they are still together after all these years and such a great team. Vince Clarke should be commended for his support of Andy Bell at a time when Andy could have been considered a liability (an openly gay man at the height of the AIDS crisis/hysteria/discrimination).

And, I must say, for a guy in his 50s, Andy looks really good in hot pants!
