Just want to put it out there...

Everyone's welcome to come for candy at my house on Halloween! Since it's Friday I'm open until eleven.

Sorry that has to be said, but, too many close their doors way too early. Some out of necessity (because they get up at five in the morning) and some because, well, just check the threads on GD to find out.

The places we take the kids also do that a lot if the weather is nice (which it usually is in Florida).

That reminds me, gotta get to Costco to stock up on stuff.

By that time I've gone through anywhere from 10 to 15 bags of candy. We get a LOT of kids.

I'm making up for the years we took our kids to other neighborhoods for Halloween and left a bowl of Halloween candy at our door for the kids to take on their honor.

Wasn't a big deal back then because our community was very secluded with maybe four houses with kids of varying ages.
