I understood about two words. In fairness, they'd have a hard time understanding me too.

Cute and very sweet though!

would be a chihuahua. They always bond strongly with one person. I wish the woman would have picked up the dog. I bet the dog would have 'played dead' for her as well.

She treats everyone like they are her long lost best friend.

However, she does not like other dogs... at all. That seems to make people feel better. They like to know, as a chihuahua, she has some sort of hang-up...

My sister had a chihuahua that was never fully house broken. When she had to move across the country and could not take the dog with her, my father took in the dog for a few months until he could find a home for him. The dog would wimper and cry with joy every time my sister returned home. After just a couple weeks, he did the same for my dad. Do you know how difficult it is to find a new home for a 13 year old chihuahua with a bad heart valve and cataracts? I called 18 dog rescue organizations, no luck. I finally put a post on Craigslist and found a young woman who specialized in adopting older dogs. That little chihuahua bonded with the girls father and he lived to be 17. (This little dog liked the old female black lab that was also in the house. He would snuggle up to her even though she was indifferent to him.)

The way I found a home for the little guy was when I e-mailed a photo of my dad washing him inthe kitchen sink. But the deal clincher was the adorable photo of my dad drying him off with a towel. His ears were perked up and hos head was tilted looking straight into the camera. My dad became attached to that dog but he could not keep him because he winters in a senior trailer park down south in the no pet section.
