My sister-in-law just texted my wife and told her what her daughters went as:
The younger girl went as a Zombie Baseball player... (Tomgirl/Tomboy who loves sports)
The oldest went as a nerd
and my wife text back: "Really? a nerd...she just had to make fun of me...
(sorry... zombie must have ate my brain tonight.)

Too cute
Then a few more little tykes as star wars and power ranger (still!) character
those were good, cause it was slightly rainy and really cool!. Had some zombies, and then there were those kids who didn't seem to be anything, but liked the candy!
Good
more for them, less for me!

(7,699 posts)Especially since she's the one forking out all that money for candy, LOL. She went through 8 huge bags of candy, but only
gave each child two pieces. That's a lot of kids.
Seemed like every fifth girl was a Frozen character, mostly Ana's.
And every fourth child was a zombie. Teen zombies, pre-teen zombies, baby zombies, adult zombies.
About one in five had no costume, or just something minor like a strange hat or some face paint.
But I also saw more homemade costumes than I've ever seen, and those are the absolute best. Even if
they come out terrible looking and ineffective, they are the best!
