Starz has ordered a new horror TV series called Ash Vs. Evil Dead. A continuation of The Evil Dead movie, the half-hour series will star Bruce Campbell reprising his role as Ash. There will be 10 episodes to start.

the original Evil Dead movie was mostly serious - it wasn't until Army of Darkness that they really broke out the humor, if I recall? I could be mistaken, though.
