I really was in the market for a just a countertop radio or combo radio/CD player and ended up with a compact stereo AM FM radio with docking port at the top and usb ports for charging a second phone or device.

I'm afraid I don't have the receipt and I bought the thing for the beach house and that's rented right now, but I think it was probably around $60 to $80 and had the lightning charger so iPad, iPod, or iPhone fits on top.

Kind of like this product: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ihome-dual-charging-stereo-fm-clock-radio-black-gunmetal/8546043.p?id=1218878104913&skuId=8546043

Maybe you can run over to your Best Buy and check them out!

Then I could go buy it off the internet if it costs less. Sometimes these retailers really overcharge up here.

I just want to get something that sounds really good. We don't need all the alarm clocks and all that, just some good sound. We have a little player now that we bought for camping, and it's okay, but I want something with a little more "oomph."
