Cats and the Halloween dance.

Lately, my cat has been doing the tip-toe, arched back Halloween dance. He's a mellow black cat and when he did it this morning he looked like something out of a cartoon. Classic.
I'd like to know what it means, though. Does anybody understand the dance?

It is hilarious among kittens. Bigger cats...something's bothering them!
