That the person that Daryl brought back with him to the church is Noel, the janitor that escaped from the hospital. Everybody else from the group is accounted for, I think. Except Morgan. But I think Morgan in several weeks behind the group, so he should not be appearing until perhaps the second half of the season. Traveling alone, he can move faster than the group, so he will, if he can track them, ultimately catch up to them.

Therefore, it seems that Daryl and Carol followed the vehicle to the hospital, tried to rescue Beth, failed, and Carol was somehow left behind. Perhaps captured by the hospital staff, perhaps rescued by them.

So the group now has to try to break Carol and Beth from the hospital.

Am I on track?

the hotel I'm at says it has AMC on the channel list, but it seems not available on the TV here. I have HBO and Showtime, but no AMC.

Does anybody know if there is a way to get access to AMC on a computer?

Not that I'm aware of, I used to have wait until after the show aired and then find a torrent, which meant I watched it about 2 hours late.

On the off chance it's been moved to a different channel number. Some providers have been changing their channel lineups as they offer more channels in HD.

first thing I did when I checked in was to flip through all the channels after seeing that AMC was not available. (AMC is listed as Channel 12, but that's the Hallmark Channel... )

The receptionist couldn't really help, either. She seemed kind of clueless.

...it was a good thing to make Carol as vulnerable as possible to up the conflict and suspense. Up to now we were looking at her as a superhero, but now her life is literally in the hands of the weakest members. That includes Beth and even Noah who has important strategy information he can provide the others.

We know Beth is no wall flower, but killing her off after the convoluted abduction wouldn't be fan-satisfying. On the other hand a limping, worn out Carol giving her life to set Beth free sounds believable in walking dead context of things. We already know the cavalry is coming to the rescue, and that Rick is wily and brutal enough to take the cross gang on, so I think it'll come down to some sacrifice scene, to pull it off, maybe Carol, maybe Beth, (maybe even both).

Tara seems like someone they might sacrifice. And probably Noah. But like everyone else, I'm worried about Carol. They'd better not!!

and, also with Daryl.

How often does Daryl miss with his crossbow? Very rarely. And, he's also the perfect tracker and rarely seems to do anything wrong. He's almost too good to be true. In an action situation with moving targets, it's very easy to miss sometimes, but Daryl rarely does. (Heck, most of the gang seems to get headshots more often than they miss, but Daryl is nearly perfect.)

Carol was a female Rambo in episode one of this season, so I was hoping they didn't make her into a female version of Daryl.

She made some interesting observations - things I missed. They should make her a regular.

I like Noah and I'd like to see him become one of the group, but I fear that they're just bringing in new people to be picked off. STILL ... I'd rather they do that than go the Game of Thrones route of OVER-proving they're not afraid to kill off beloved characters.

I got the impression that it was Daryl and Carol that clipped the walker, and somebody following Daryl and Carol that pancaked it. Is that correct?

Daryl is not from the comic book. Not only is he a creation from the network but his popularity more than his skills will keep him alive through the ZA (zombie apocalypse).

I did not know that. I read somewhere, though, that Norman Reedus originally auditioned for the role of Merle, back when no one had any idea what would happen with the show. Now he plays one of the most popular characters on a monster hit TV series. Funny thing, show biz.

Daryl, Merle and T-Dog were not in the comics. In the comics, Andrea and Sophia are still alive as well. (Andrea in the comics is also far less annoying than TV Andrea. Same with Dale - I liked him in the comics and he had the "Bob" death there with the tainted meat. He was also annoying on the show.)

Also, in the comics, Lizzie and Mika were (I think) and twin boys who basically did the same thing.
