MC drivers are all hung out there. It takes enough to hang back, give yourself reaction time, and keep a sharp eye out for those who do not see you. The guy who crossed my path was on the phone. I could see him in his mirror, so all he had to do was look to see me. And I followed him of the highway off ramp so at some point he should have been aware of me. I was keeping a safe distance.
