And that tiny black kitten looks like what I'd expect to find in my sink, LOL. My little guy is getting bigger - and climbing!

I posted about it when it happened, stopped for groceries one night back in August and discovered a little kitten in the parking lot. They were doing construction there, so I talked to a few of the construction guys and they said he'd been around for a few days and they'd tried unsuccessfully to catch him. I couldn't just leave the little guy there, so I went back with tuna, a carrier and a towel, but I would have had no luck at all if a nice young couple who work there hadn't been determined to help me. For such a little one (the vet estimated seven weeks), he sure could move fast! So I now have Felix. He's growing into a beautiful cat!

The vet said he's healthy, grateful that I found him when I did. I have had a cat before, but never a kitten, and all he really wants to do is play...

Ideally next time I want a Bengal though I love to play with them!

that somehow lets homeless cats good places to go to. When her big ol' Maine Coon crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 28 years of age (!) within two days a beautiful homeless Russian Blue turned up on her doorstep.

Happens to me a lot. In fact, I have only 1 cat that I went out and found, every other time they have showed up, often in strange ways.

They were doing major construction at that site and he was just so small, 2.6 lbs. at the vet. And it was just chance that I stopped at that particular grocery store on my way home, makes me cringe to think about it.

Urm, I see you're not pampering Felix or anything.
