Convicted Sex Offender Wins $3 Million Lottery Jackpot. Guess where?

https://gma.yahoo.com/convicted-sex-offender-timothy-poole-wins-3-million-123056258--abc-news-topstories.html

A convicted sex offender won a $3 million lottery jackpot in Florida and will be able to keep his winnings.

Poole pleaded guilty in 2002 to attempted sexual battery involving two victims under the age of 12, according to Florida Department of Law Enforcement records.

He was released from custody in 2006....

There are no laws preventing anyone convicted of committing a crime from winning the lottery. The odds of winning a $3 million jackpot in the Super Millions scratch-off game are 1-in-1,680,000, according to Florida Lottery.

Struggle4progress will enjoy the fact that he will be able to leave (if his mommy permits him to go out). The guy weighs 450 pounds and drives a cab for the company that is owned by his mother.

Since he won that money, perhaps now he'll be able to provide for himself and learn something. I see he did serve his time. It looks like he got four years for attempted battery. And what in the world is attempted battery? Did he or didn't he assault the girls?

He paid for the ticket and won fair and square.

Dumb article.
