Mistakes were made. I admit this.

Fried chicken biscuits that were left out on the table were eaten by someone else.

They were possibly amazingly tasty.

But we don't know. Because that's looking backwards. We need to look forwards.

We could argue for days about who did or didn't eat the last chicken biscuit, and who does or doesn't have crumbs on his t-shirt. But neither of those will get the chicken biscuit back.
