It's been a very leisurely day, so far. I went to do my grocery shopping, along with most of the town it seems, but all is well, and now I'm ready for the wet weather that will arrive tomorrow!

I have some letters to write now, but I enjoy doing those from time to time...

My husband and I are watching a program on American Jews that was made by PBS. We started it last night and it's fascinating. I'd never really thought about their history here in America, and there's a lot. It's great. We got it from Netflix. We'll see some more tonight...

Enjoy your football games and your pork green chili!

it's grey and chilly right now and we may see some snow, but who knows. either way, the crock pot was definitely the way to go.

Padora on playing seasonal tunes...my wife is knitting...dogs snoring. Soon we will go to the airport to pick up our daughter - arriving from Seattle for her Christmas visit!

the fridge. I was turned on to the recipe from Tricia Yearwood's cooking show on Food Network. Spread saltines on a well-greased,foil lined jelly roll pan, pour melted butter, brown sugar, & vanilla over crackers, bake in 425F oven for a couple of minutes. Spread chocolate chips& peanut butter chips (my addition) & spread when melted. Cool in fridge or freezer then break apart. Yum!I also made organic, whipped shea butter body cream (melt raw shea butter, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, cool, & whip for 10 minutes with a hand mixer) too. It's fluffy and fabulous. I found some little containers at the dollar store. Cheap, but I think they'll like them.

after a few days in the 60s. Snow on for tonight. brrr

I’m lazing around in my jersey cow pj bottoms and my getting-ragged Fuck Nixon tee shirt, eating pretzels dipped in horsey mustard and watching Hallmark movies. Yeah, I know...but as I said, I’m lazing around, and the remote’s over there.
