burn the time (if you'll pardon the pun) with the transcoding. whenever i look at media playing devices i make sure they can handle VOB... just makes life easier!

have fun with that project. i have filled about 20TB over the last few years digitizing all our media... everything. hell, i even scanned the old tax returns and important cancelled checks.

I am making mp4 files and storing on 4TB drive then playing back through Plex Server. It seems to work pretty well.
