Topkapi ....Maximilian Schell

My first time for watching Topkapi. The opening credits are over the top awesome. Loved the movie!

And

Imitation of Life for Juanita Moore.

Shared this one with my partner. Mz. Moore stole the movie. A story written in the 30's, told via a movie from the 50's and still relevant today; on the race and the gender issues it addresses. This movie just drips with white privilege!

Shame on me!

Imitation of Life is great!

The 1934 version with Claudette Colbert is good, too.

Fredi Washington, who played Louise Beavers' daughter, has an interesting bio.
