When I have trouble getting out of bed in the morning it's usually due to hangoveria. Fortunately, for my sleep cycle, I am married now and my wife has made me cut down on the causes if hangoveria.

even on the rare occasion I wake up relatively bright eyed and bushy tailed, I'll lay there for 30~45 more minutes for no real good reason. Just don't wanna get up.

Also, invariably, I will find that perfect combination of pillow height, mattress depth and blanket warmth for the most comfortable sleep about 5 minutes before the alarm goes off. I just ignore the alarm. Not giving up the sweet spot.

Most days I wake up before five, no alarm, ready to go.
