FYI: Sanborn's restaurants in Mexico suck in many majestic ways

The quality of their Mexican food is equal or parallel to the best American restaurants that attempt to serve Mexican food.

Bland, tasteless, pablum.

Even in restaurants ensconced in Mexican iconic cities like Monterrey, Guadalajara, or Merida. If you go there you are guaranteed the same malodorous miasma you've come to expect from any American pseudo mexican dreck you've suffered from the blight of American pseudo Mexican hell holes.

I just had their dreck in Monterrey, today, and let me tell you... I won't go there again even at gunpoint.

It's like going to Boston and eating at a Red Lobster.
