The build-up was that it was a cross between Spamalot and Monty Python (I read that somewhere). It was just silly and the songs were annoying, IMO.

And I was surprised at how ambitious it was. Not saying they did a great job, but the songs were plentiful and not that bad. it just looked like an awful lot of work went into it. But yeah, pretty lame plot.
