A little over 2 months old. It is very sweet- except for the kneading part. I have never had a cat do this before.

You might let it suck on your pinky once in a while

(14,944 posts)I suspected he may be missing his mommy. Bravest kitty I ever met. Son brought him home and set him down. He saw the Christmas tree and immediately tried to pull an ornament off. Dives on the older kitty and wrestles him until older kitty gives up and begs to go outside.

(22,845 posts)Pet stores usually carry them. It might be that just a few more days of nursing would satisfy its urge.
Arkansas Granny
(31,518 posts)He wasn't weaned too early so I suspect it was just something he liked to do, but I didn't like the wet circles he left on my shirts. One time, when I wouldn't allow him to suck on my shirt, he laid on the back of the couch behind my head and literally drooled on my shoulder. He was just a big old wacky kitty.

(18,650 posts)It's comforting to them. I have others that also don't knead but just drool when relaxed...same thing.

(1,562 posts)He occasionally nurses on the tip of his own tail. It must be comforting for him because he purrs like crazy, and kneads the air.

(14,944 posts)I think it just makes him really happy. I will try to get video to post. Turbo is his name, a little buff colored tiger. Full of confidence and mischief. When my son moves out and takes him and big brother Odin ( HUGE all black kitty with extra toes) my heart will be broken. Will enjoy his extra attentions whilst I can.

(118,696 posts)you as their mother. What a great continuity of love you are giving to that little one.

(14,944 posts)He loves to fetch too, only had one other kitty play fetch but she didn't do it with this much enthusiasm. Hubby and I love this kitten and have made son promise to bring Turbo to see his grandparents after he moves. Oh yeah, his name is Turbo. The kitteh, not my son.

(7,906 posts)I've ever owned. Great name!
Like Arkansas Granny, I also once had a cat who would nurse on my shirt collar, while kneading, until it was literally soaking wet. He did it his entire life.
