(14,691 posts)where I live there's no snow in front of my building and 4-5 inches elsewhere. Not because maintenance shoveled or salted - the wind is blowing it away. We're at bottom of a hill and there seems to be a wind tunnel effect any time there's a storm.

(14,691 posts)on Accuweather to be in the 35 - 40 mph range around here. The higher wind speeds (up to 65 mph) are forecast to be out east on L.I.

(10,098 posts)There are like six people shoveling snow at a snails pace, and there hasn't even been much snow. I have watched the same person shovel about a 25 yard stretch of the sidewalk about ten times, it's funny.
