It will be a great day for him and all of Patriots Nation!
I wonder if he'll make a joke about deflated footballs.

(16,954 posts)that choke job in the Super Bowl in '08 (?). That Eli fellow won instead.
And if I remember, that Manning fellow was favored last year, but that didn't go so well either.

Loved the intentional tripping the Pats got away with. Along with Brady's intentional grounding that didn't get called either.

(16,954 posts)Dominant...
oberliner
(58,724 posts)The SEA D looked pretty bad.
R B Garr
(16,954 posts)that obviously benefitted them.
That's the way the cookie crumbles. They hardly looked dominant. Refs lent a hand, as well.
oberliner
(58,724 posts)They won because Brady picked apart the Seattle D and scored 4 TDs.
Refs had bad calls on both sides. Coaching error had nothing to do with anything. If they had ran, they would've been stopped at the 1 and lost that way.
R B Garr
(16,954 posts)That was a sure thing for Seattle to run in, but they made an error and passed. All the professional announcers say the same thing. Yet, here you are.
The homerism is too much for me. You should be celebrating you got off the hook in a very close game. Box scores don't tell what really happened at the end.
I still stand by my original comment about Brady, which is that I haven't found him invincible since the choke job against the Giants. Tonight was heading to a choke job, as well, but Seattle's coaching error bailed them out.

(16,954 posts)'til right after the game, as if he's using my post as his patsy to troll me and other people. Fucking LAME.. I see right through that bullshit and if you don't like what I have to say in response to bullshit gloating, too bad.
BTW, all the announcers, including what I'm watching now agree with my assessment. Just now, I'm listening to a replay with the announcer shouting, "Why did you throw the ball???" So you better get used to that line, because that's the REALITY.

R B Garr
(16,954 posts)Brady wasn't on the field when that error occurred.
*Seattle should have run that ball in, not pass. The announcers have all been saying that so far, as well.
oberliner
(58,724 posts)That was my prediction and it was correct.

R B Garr
(16,954 posts)I bet you didn't predict that.
oberliner
(58,724 posts)Coaching error had nothing to do with anything.
Good defensive stand by the Pats in spite of crazy fluke catch.
Mostly though it was the unstoppable Brady and company offense against a wishy washy defense.
R B Garr
(16,954 posts)was intercepted. That's the reality, and it would have sealed the game for Seattle, who was ahead since the beginning of the 2nd half.
"Crazy fluke catch" -that catch was nothing but brilliant, and the fact that you have to denigrate shows how childish you are and how much you are just being manipulative.
Reality is that Pat's benefitted from a Seattle coaching error to pass the ball instead of run it.
oberliner
(58,724 posts)They would've stopped the run too.
The Pats won and Brady was dominant.
No denigration intended.
R B Garr
(16,954 posts)All the reporters said that, as well.
R B Garr
(16,954 posts)like payback for the fact that there was scandal following Brady and the Pats that followed them around. That has been part of the news cycle and it has been widely reported everywhere. What you are doing just looks like payback for those legitimate threads about a reported scandal.
I'm sure Brady will be a HOF'er, but the manipulation in your threads show an agenda to what you are doing that isn't based on what happened by any reasonable standards -- even the reporters were dumbstruck by Seattle's coaching error, yet here on this message board, you are a Brady humper.
Meh.

(4,259 posts)Patriots all the way. Brady passed for almost 100 yards more than Wilson. Controlled the ball, the game, the Seahawks!
R B Garr
(16,954 posts)Seattle's coaching error gave them the game.
elias49
(4,259 posts)Wilson throws long balls hoping against hope that he'll get a pass interference call.
Patriots beat the Seahawks with ability and EXPERIENCE!
The SHs will get there.
R B Garr
(16,954 posts)at the end due to a bad coaching call from Seattle.
All the professional announcers have been saying the same thing. Only here is Pat's "dominance" touted. lol.
elias49
(4,259 posts)Do you know who made it? Offensive Coordinator? Totally bizarre.
I still think the Pats dominated. Seriously. Stats matter. Who controlled the ball longer? Who had the most passing yards? Rushing yards? From what I've seen of the Seahawks, they seen to lack focus or conviction. The pray for the long ball, go for the big play instead of playing 60 minutes.
The Packers should have beaten Seattle. Seattle didn't win. But it all worked out in the end: 28-24 Pats.
R B Garr
(16,954 posts)and I really don't appreciate the repeated spamming like this when I simply made a comment a day ago in this thread that looked like trolling to begin with, so I'm sorry I didn't just leave it alone to begin with. It really reeked of payback and revenge for Ballgate and it's very childish.
NONE of your stats would have mattered had there been a running play with Lynch.
Here's more bullshit with stats: Brady had two interceptions. Wilson had one. On paper, it looks like Wilson is better, yet he had the interception that mattered. So much for bullshit stats.
Enjoy your squeaker win. I can't figure out why Pats fans aren't just grateful they pulled it out.

(51,311 posts)is for OVER-ALL PERFORMANCE, DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
You are being petty in your insistence that the better team lost and the lesser team won by a "coaching error."
HAD that pass resulted in the winning touchdown, THERE IS NO WAY EITHER YOU OR THE "PROFESSIONAL ANNOUNCERS" WOULD HAVE CALLED IT OTHER THAN "GENIUS."
R B Garr
(16,954 posts)IT'S ALL OVER THE NEWS ABOUT THE BAD CALL. ALL THE ANNOUNCERS WERE TALKING ABOUT IT.
WHAT'S PETTY IS SANDBAGGING MY POST FROM LAST FUCKING NIGHT TO TROLL ME. THAT'S REALLY, REALLY FUCKING PETTY. IT'S OBVIOUS HE DIDN'T RESPOND LAST NIGHT SO HE CAN KICK THE THREAD TODAY. (16,954 posts)GLENDALE, Ariz. They had three chances to go three feet. They had 26 seconds to win a Super Bowl. They had Marshawn Lynch.
They passed the ball.
It was beyond stunning, inexplicable even in the split-second that it took place: Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson lined up in the shotgun and threw an interception to Malcolm Butler in the end zone and it was over. No repeat. No dynasty. No nothing. New England Patriots win, 28-24. Seahawks left with a lifetime of wondering.
