Lately I been eating a lot of good Chinese food, but I always ask for extra fortune cookies. Not only are they yummy, but there are wise little sayings included to make our lives a teeny bit better.

...when people like you and Jen sacrifice and work very hard to make it happen. 
I'm a firm believer that you can make a better life for yourself still in America. It requires hard work, intelligence, and probably a little luck, but I think the American dream is still alive. That is due in large part to people like you. I know you understand about sacrifice.
