I think that is about an inch of moisture, if I recall. we don't get snow very often so I usually just wait until it melts in the rain gauge to check.

yeah he is mostly looks and not much in the brains dept. I am a sucker for paints.

Now, I'm back in a part of the world where the rivers and streams have water in them....all year round.

but the Eastern half has some areas that are reminiscent of So Cal, but those places get snow in the winter.

Lucky you.

Although, I must say, we've had some rain this winter. Not enough, but some.

Yeah, nice horse! And needless to say, the pictures are great!

How ya doing? I have kind of been MIA lately. Busy as hell, but I did get caught up on some reading. I finally ordered and read books by fellow DUers - DFW, nolabear, and NRaleighLiberal. I recommend all three!

Still involved with PT for my shoulder and it is getting stronger.

I have 2 of those books! They are excellent!

I signed up for MIRT......we'll see if they'll have me.

maybe we should do something funny/Loungy when things are slow. Start a thread about chicken or something.

I think I am OK to be around more now. I did "retire" from hosting because I was REALLY not helping in there. I will try again soon. Actually I should go ahead and get on the waiting list, I guess. I can always remove myself if it gets busy again.

Yeah wow, last day of January. sheesh where did that go?

when was your last surgery? does the colder weather bother your arm? do you have access to massage or water therapy? I would be trying that if I could!

I have zero interest in being a host, although I got made one in the Photo Group. It helped me when I ran a contest.

My last surgery was last July when I had a repair to the replaced left shoulder. It had been slipping in and out of the joint. Not good! The doc injected some composite stuff into the joint and stitched it up tighter, and it's better now. Much less slippage.

I'm stronger too, but not strong enough, so I go once a week to PT and then do exercises at home.

The cold weather doesn't bother me at all. I haven't used water therapy, but my PT guy does massage my shoulder now and then. Some of the muscles are tight (the wrong ones, of course!) so he's trying to loosen them up.

Everything he does is helping but it's glacial!
