Ah, so this must be when you decided to get payback
Your trolling job on the Lounge was one of the most evil things I've seen online and obviously had malicious intent for payback, all for something that is and has been a legitimate news story, whether you like it or not.
For me, it wasn't that much of a story, but it was and has been legitimate nonetheless.
I'm still pissed at how you fucked with me and the malicious way you went about it.
Against my better judgment (my fault, it's true), I posted to your troll post in the Lounge about Brady, and my comment was simply that I didn't deem him invincible since I saw him choke in the 2008 Super Bowl. I didn't even see the 2012 Super Bowl where he supposedly choked again.
Reality is that I don't give a flip about the Patriots. I am geographically separated from them, I know only some distant relatives there, I don't know if I can even get the games on my cable. I literally have only watched them once or twice, one time being the 2008 Super Bowl when they lost. So my opinion of him was that was he wasn't invincible. End of story.
You kept your thread active in the Lounge for at least 24-hours after my comment, and you were answering many others. You had plenty of opportunity to answer my post, but you didn't.
You obviously held back until you could begin your assault on me -- depending on the outcome of the game.
Game Day: Immediately after the final interception, my SO turned the game off and we came in to watch a movie. IMMEDIATELY after I opened my laptop, I saw your post, which was literally SECONDS after the interception. You OBVIOUSLY had waited with malicious intent to answer my post so that you could troll me. I answered you once with a terse but appropriate reply, as I didn't agree with you, but you were going the Fox News route of the misinformation bullyhorn and you obviously planned your post right after the moment of the interception, because it looked like Patriots were losing.
I really don't appreciate you sitting on my fairly benign post to use as an opportunity to get your sick revenge. At least now I know why the Patriots are so ridiculed. You've made me see the light as to why they are hated. Thanks for that, at least. What you did is truly the dark side of the internet.

Since you've made so much of this thread about you I have to ask: how long have you been using the Internet? You sound very wounded over something that doesn't seem like anywhere close to that big a deal. I'm curious to know, of course, but my question actually comes more out of concern. You don't sound sane and I think you either need help or need to seriously curtail your time online. Anyone who gets as wounded as you by sports smack talk definitely needs some kind of help. And this is not mockery, it's genuine concern. You show a LOT of red flags and warning signs in your post, and some nearby professional should be addressing them as soon as possible.

and after a win for their team, they have many options to celebrate. Let's go through some:
1. Hug your wife
2. Hug your kids.
3. Call your mom.
4. Have some shots with people at your party
5. Call your brother
6. Call your sister
7. Call your coworkers
8. Go to a neighborhood bar and celebrate with fellow fans.
9. Pet your dog.
10. Go outside and celebrate with neighbors.
11. Celebrate with fellow fans at a viewing party.
ETC.
Here's what's not sane and sick as fuck:
IMMEDIATELY run to your computer so you can blast some anonymous person on the internet as some sick revenge game. It's pretty scary to think that some dark mind is out there lurking and the only thing they can think to do after a big win is to fuck people over on the internet. I'm so concerned about you anti-social internet lurkers with the dark minds who can only think of internet revenge.
EDIT: Look up anti-social internet disorder since you wanted to get psychobabbly with me. You'll see that type behavior I described outlined there.
EDIT 2: Keep in mind, this is ALL I said to get so deep into this person's psyche that I was one of the first things he thought about after the game ended, no prior posting history between us, NOTHING:
"Yeah, well the last time I thought Brady was invincible was...that choke job in the Super Bowl in '08 (?)."
LOL, now here's my "genuine concern". I'm so very genuinely concerned for people who go to any length to make excuses for cheaters. There's something to that Spygate, as now it's coming out that the Patriots knew that last play through cheating.
Your post doesn't sound genuine, either. It's full of RED FLAGS in itself. So full of it. You must have missed the other posts from Patriot fans that confirm what I said about the revenge. So looks like you need to call a doctor, as well...for "help" as you're obviously so "concerned" about something you don't know anything about.

(16,995 posts)You can find those links anywhere on the internet if you don't like this one. Maybe it will explain why you needed to troll me just seconds after the interception which saved the Patriots from losing. It should be enlightening for you, since this is all I said in your thread. That's hardly smack talk to warrant someone obsessing about getting back at me:
"Yeah, well the last time I thought Brady was invincible was...that choke job in the Super Bowl in '08 (?)."

(16,995 posts)Here is my response to one that I didn't want to get buried in the archives because I posted to it late. It still blows my mind how manipulative and evil this person was in how they trolled me. Feb.1 was my first wedding anniversary, as well. We weren't even all that into the game as we're not official Seattle fans but we do like Pete Carroll. I made a casual remark about Brady, and it was evil how he obviously marked me for revenge. I'm beginning to see why the Pats are hated. Defending cheaters takes a certain type, I guess.
This is my answer to someone in this thread who posted in the Lounge about Brady:

Even though I tried to make a point of keeping out of the sports smack talk, he didn't even wait until the game ended to start his post revenge on my minor comment. Really sick and creepy behavior. I didn't think this was tolerated in the Lounge. Cute pictures, stories, etc.

(5,639 posts)Whites for the Patriots, blacks for the Seahawks. But since at least half of those whites are Democrats, I can't say that the split is purely political. Of course, I'm only reporting what I see where I live and work.
I despise both teams equally - and for that matter I can't stand the NFL, period. Then again, to me, the only football is Montreal Alouettes football. But if I had to side with one or the other I'd cross the political line you've been seeing and side with New England because I especially loathe Pete Carroll and Doug Baldwin.
