Walking Dead comes back this Sunday night at 9pm. Should be interesting to see what's in store.
After TWD at 9pm, comes the premiere of Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad prequel. I think it's just this one week only that it follows TWD. Talking Dead comes on at 11pm.

It will be interesting to see how well Better Call Saul goes over. I like the concept, but will miss the characters of Walt and Jessie.

I guess it's going to start off with him as Jimmy McGill - before he became Saul Goodman.

(56,828 posts)The back half of The Walking Dead's fifth season premieres this Sunday on AMC with a whopper of an episode. Directed by longtime WD helmer Greg Nicotero, the kick-off for the next eight episodes amps up the drama and moves at a rapid clip, hopefully setting the tone for the rest of the season.

(56,828 posts)with the holiday season (Thanksgiving to New Year's) followed by the NFL playoffs on Sunday nights, ratings would be down quite a bit for a good portion of the December and January...
Plus, they can play up the return of The Walking Dead as an event for February sweeps. If it's just a few skipped weeks, it's not a "big" event.
Just my 2 cents on why they do it.

(56,828 posts)we finally get some character development for her in the second half of last season, and then, "bam" she's gone.
