Launch of another new era

My husband turned in his notice two weeks ago, http://www.democraticunderground.com/1018721226 . He's been transitioning his duties to others... today he finished, packed up and came home before 3pm. I swear, the look in his eyes was like a kid on Christmas morning.

He's asked if I can stand having him around more, and that's a big fat YES. He will have to travel a bit more, but he will be home more too.

I guess semi retirement would be the best description.
