Apart from some missing end lines from "Seven Ages of Man", this is sublime. Beautiful tone and perfect diction.
Only Mr Rickman could ever match it.

(6,384 posts)If you can get it on Netflix, do- I highly recommend it.
They make three or four 90-minute episodes a year, or sometimes every two years. Superb writing and direction, as well as wonderful acting from Cumberbatch as Holmes and Martin Freeman as Dr Watson. Set in modern day, very clever and amusing.
I give it 10 out of 10.

(6,384 posts)He's not traditionally "good-looking", but there's something that draws your attention. The eyes lovely colour, and very intelligent and humorous. Great mouth.
And that voice. Washing over you, like a fine, mellow wine.
I should get a grip
.

(16,389 posts)The fact that his face is not "traditionally good-looking" as you say, probably makes him all that yummier, IMO anyway.

(28,946 posts)He takes his work very seriously, but not himself.
Now the scruffy bad boy is fine when and if you're in a dirty girl mood, but for the long haul a BC is the first choice. Plus, he's pretty arm candy.
