(24,319 posts)1. I used to see him in the blues clubs
in Silicon Valley in the 80s. Saw him about five years ago opening for Elvin Bishop in Northern California. Great talent, puts on a great show and a really nice guy.
Warning to guys - if you take your girl to see him, they may fall in love with him.

(2,959 posts)3. He's great. He used to live above the Saloon on Grant Ave. Hiss girlfriend once nearly hit
me and my neighbors by launching their TV out of their window along with some of his clothes during a particularly acrimonious argument. We were standing on the sidewalk in front of the Saloon chatting. It was followed shortly by Tommy hauling ass out and down the street.
Great performer. I love his "pre NAFTA Stratocaster". matter of fact he's one of the reasons I bought my own "pre-NAFTA Streat."

His funk infused style is always a crowd pleaser!
