This is as close as can be had to a Platonic ideal of what this song should be.

Perfection, and like Beethoven's Fifth, you couldn't change a note without ruining it.

In the same breath with the likes of Fripp, McLaughlin, Howe, Hendrix, Blackmore, Gilmour, Beck, Page and Eric Johnson.

I've always thought Clapton is wildly overrated.

I'm not into Led Zep, never have been. I always thought they crossed the line over into too much distortion and screaming.

Brian May doesn't go over that line. Also I think he's always tasteful with his effects and seems to be always noodling within the chord.

I never thought Clapton had any personality in his playing and I think he's overrated as well.

It's hell.

I'm not a finger-picker (like Mr Knopfler) or a travis-picker, so it's really slow going.

It's so very pretty, though. And I'll get it. Sooner or later, I'll get it.

At 9:35 he does about the same arpeggios as he does in the radio version of Sultans of Swing.
He has a new album coming out soon and they have released one single on the net, which is called "Beryl".
It sounds a whole lot like Sultans of Swing.

I never get tired of listening to Money for Nothing.

Love this version with rockin' choir, rockin' orchestra and Sting :
