I need some research help ... promised a friend statistics or just info on the growth of the resort

wear market, globally or US or both. Resort wear being what people yearn to wear after brutal winters (well, traditionally, what very wealthy people would buy for their break in St. Tropez or wherever; now lots of people can buy 'resort wear' at various price points).

I have found lots of info on the google about how resort wear collections are going gangbusters (all ranges - super high cost, mid range, the execrable "fast fashion", eco-clothing, etc.) but nothing on the actual NUMBERS whether it's dollars or percentage growth.

Anyone better at stats and research willing to point me in the right direction? Maybe I'm just tired, or don't know the right way to ask for what I need to find ...

I typed "Clothing sales statistics by type" into Google. A HERETIC I AM Mar 2015 #2

Yeah, I got to statista almost immediatly, but for anything with real Flaxbee Mar 2015 #4

Might be a starting place for you anyway.

Use words like that in your searches.

Apparel industry statistics
Clothing sales by genre....etc.

numbers, they want to "charge you annually for the $49/month fee" and I'm not interested in a $600 bill

Everything I have found will tell you what you want to know if you fork over the dough. I did find "one free report" here.
