Bock Beer Day Bock Beer is a strong German Lager. Several sub-styles exist within the Bock family and it’s our understanding that they can all be consumed freely as part of National Bock Beer Day.Traditional Bock is a sweet, relatively strong (generally in the 6.3%–7.2% ABV range) lightly hopped lager. The Maibock was brilliantly explained in our recent What The Hell Is A Maibock column, so we’re not going to detail it here. The Doppelbock is a stronger and maltier variant that was first brewed in Munich by the Paulaner Friars. TheEisbock is a traditional specialty beer from the Kulmbach district of Germany – it’s a much stronger version made by partially freezing the beer and removing the ice that forms. http://americancraftbeer.com/item/american-craft-beer-celebrates-national-bock-beer-day.html

National Ravioli Day Ravioli is one of the most popular dishes among pasta lovers. If you love this dish, then celebrate National Ravioli Day on March 20.
The first mention of ravioli dates back to the 14th century. They were mentioned in the writings of Fransecro di Marco, who was a merchant. The very first ravioli were filled with minced and blanched green herbs mixed with beaten egg and fresh cheese. This recipe is still used today and it is loved for sweet and strong spices.

You can find hundreds of different fillings for ravioli. Italians love filling their ravioli with ricotta, spinach, nutmeg and black pepper. But ravioli with seafood, meat, vegetables or cheese are also very popular.

Traditionally ravioli are homemade, but you can purchase them frozen in grocery stores. Canned ravioli are also very popular in the USA, which were introduced by Chef Boyardee. He suggested filling ravioli with beef or processed cheese and serve them in a tomato, tomato-cheese or tomato-meat sauce.

There are dishes that are similar to ravioli in different countries. For example, popular Indian dish gujiya is prepared with sweet filling of fruit, sugar and sweet spices mixture, then deep fried in oil. Asian samosa is also similar to ravioli, but it us stuffed with meat, potato, peas and served with sour and sweet sauce. https://anydayguide.com/calendar/912

Kiss Your Fiancée Day We all need a bit of romance in our lives and Kiss Your Fiancé Day is an ideal opportunity to indulge your romantic side. This special day is more than just an excuse to kiss your loved one; it’s also an opportunity to relax and unwind.

Kiss Your Fiancé Day was created as a reminder to couples who are busy planning their wedding day to take some time off and enjoy each other. As kissing is therapeutic and relaxing, there’s no better way to unwind than with a good kiss. Why not use the day as an excuse to plan a special date night, such as an evening out at the cinema or to a restaurant, or cook a special meal for your partner.

Planning a wedding is one of the most stressful times in anyone’s life, so take the day as a reminder to have some fun, too. https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/kiss-your-fiance-day/

Spring (Vernal Equinox)

Proposal Day Proposal Day was created as a way for many people to come together and ask for their partners hand in marriage. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to pinpoint exactly when this day was proposed since so many people have claimed the idea as their own. But as you can tell, it’s extremely popular and may even rival Valentines Day eventually.

Many times in the past, people have wanted to propose in a romantic and quirky way but had problems with self-confidence and lack of courage. With Proposal Day, these people have their unique way of proposing by being in a large group all doing it together.

These groups use social media to chose a meeting place to all come together. This happens all around the world.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that people have to propose only on this day, it’s a fun idea. You should propose when the time feels right. https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/proposal-day/

World Storytelling Day Once upon a time, a long time ago (well, actually, back in 1991 in Sweden), a Storytelling Day was held. The ethos behind this event caught on around the globe, and now we celebrate World Storytelling Day on an international level.

The aim of World Storytelling Day is to celebrate the art of oral storytelling, with as many people as possible around the world telling and listening to stories in their own languages on the same day. People taking part can link up with others around the globe who are also contributing – making it a truly international festival that creates new friends and promotes positive understanding of cultures around the world!

So, go on, sit down with your friends and loved ones and join the United Nations of storytellers on this day of celebrating cultural folklore and the art of oral storytelling! Why not spin a yarn, and pass down your stories to the next generation? https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/world-storytelling-day/
