It's Sammi, you know them as the Laplanders. IMO, interesting similarities to indigenous music of Asia and North Am.

and hearing some remarkable music of the Sami. Not at all like waltzes on Hardanger fiddles!

The throat singing was something I think of as Mongolian and Tibetan
