They went through a lot of stylistic changes over the years - first acoustic folkies that at one time were Sandy Denny's backup band, then increasingly prog with one Rick Wakeman on keyboards, eventually becoming very prog, then back to acoustic stuff. Dave Cousins has had an interesting career!
