OMZ!1 I can't believe I used "kardashian" in a sentence, like an actual communication tool!1

There was this one time in a phone call with tech support... (today)

I vented -- O.K., *instigated* -- a preemptive complaint about previous tech support exchanges with me regarding obstacles to communication.

As soon as the dude answered, oh so pleasantly, I griped that I had had two previous problems with the same software problem, had taken the chance for a one-time incident payment instead of a couple of hundred bucks for a year's warranty, that I wanted some sounds during pauses like uh-huhs so I'd know they were still on the line, and most of all I wanted their instructions *said* and then followed by word spellings ("N" as November, "S" as in Sam, "T" as in Tango, etc.)

So the dude was extremely patient with me despite my provocations, and he went through the "Tango" stuff all the way. But then there was a place where I could understand neither the letter nor the word-sound-thing. And he had to cycle through a couple of different words to approximate the letter, which turned out to be "K".

I said, disgusting even myself, "Oh!1 'K' as in 'kardashian'?!1" And the poor patient fellow had to laugh!1 I am really, really disgusted with myself.

It hasn't been a *bad* day -- what with a sick dog, plumbers tunneling under my shack for the 2nd day with one or two more to go(no water, peeing in a bottle), a tech support event, being ugly in GD -- *and* giving "kardashian" credibility. Actually sort of fun except for my poor baby dog!1

You, not so much.

P.S.--When is the wedding?

Hope your puppy recovers soon and you get the water back on.

He has a sick dog, application of the sick dog's saliva behind the ears and a few other places MIGHT remove the Kardashian from his system.

Say a little prayer. But if that doesn't work, DIBS on best man!

what to you think - are they all stuffed with silicon you know where? No one is like that naturally, I hope? Doesn't it hurt to sit down? How does one walk? Does the back hurt, like when women have DDDD bosoms?

That is, if there is something out there that everybody in our village is talking about, I feel compelled to give it a look so I know what to think of it when it has filtered down to my level.

Starting with your questions, my answer is that I don't know any of those. Not diminishing the curiosity about those specifics, but what I think about those is that I don't care.

After those couple of seasons I was all tapped out of interest in them. I check out newspaper websites for *news*, like the New York Daily News and NY Post and am astounded that there are pictures of one or another of them just about every single day just for look-what-she's-wearing-today!1 and I don't even look at the pictures. I don't understand where the money comes from just for them to stand around in or out of various costumes.

What I think about their fake reality daily lives: Emasculation was definitely a theme throughout, including the dudes marrying into the family, I'm glad the professional athletes escaped. It was incredible how the whole gang manages to sugarcoat their whole tawdriness and grasping materialism with a veneer of innocence and normality to the point of fake respectability. But most of all, it's horrible that they will not go away for decades, with the younger ones coming up. And then there's Kanye. He and DISICK are a perfect fit for the grotesquerie.

Just sayin' this was the point of all that evolution?!1 Well, it's just me talking, while I sit at some contraption thinking I'm doing something.
