1982 Bronski Beat "Smalltown Boy" just because it rocks.
I'm not gay, but who cares! I love it. I can't even make out most of the lyrics, save for the chorus. The first time I heard this was when I picked up a distant college radio station on my walkman radio. As I recall, I was 11 or 12 and was washing off my feet in the bathtub the first time I heard it.
