But you did pick a good station to find it

I like the Suburbs of Goa station on soma fm, though, as it's a bit less frenetic

I usually type "space" into the search box on Shoutcast, and end up with several choices to suit my mood.

My roots in the genre are old and gnarly, like pre-Kraftwork gnarly.

I am a big trance/ambient fan. Kruder & Dorfmeister, Armin van Buuren, FSOL, Thievery Corporation.

I've lately been a fan of this djs' compositions, really long (hour+) sonic voyages, mostly instrumental with occasional vocals and guest compositions. After hearing "Cave of Shadows" on a Shoutcast channel I had to have more. She and her mate used to have a free podcast with a new piece every week, but they seemed to have slipped off into radio silence as far as I can tell.
More chill than trance, with a marked talent for slowly and cyclically building to crescendo, and settling into another groove and building it again.
