(35,685 posts)I was in awe when I saw the kangaroos. That is a wonderfully artistic shot, but it's also funny because of the two boxing. I loved*loved*loved this one.
Smokey eyes cracked me up, but it was "cats don't beg" that articulated what I've been trying to say for a long time.
The owls, too were a treat. I loved how when I looked at them, owls were hooting outside.

(2,150 posts)My spouse and I sit down every Sunday morning without fail to see what you have to offer that day. We're never disappointed, and the experience really does make our morning joyful.
OMG.... that little blue bird snuggling against the little pale colored bird in the middle. Looks like the one furthest away is closing his eyes so he doesn't have to look at it... maybe a little jealous? I don't know, but that picture really did it for me.
I don't thank you enough. You truly are a DU treasure. You bring joy to many people's lives, and some of us really do become uplifted from the experience you provide.

(2,012 posts)Rocky Mountain National Park and came up on a "critter jam", people stopped and using their great cameras and binocs. Thought they were probably seeing elk, moose, bighorn sheep, maybe a bear, but no--a gorgeous owl, baby Great Horned I think, huge but still fuzzy on top, not far up in the tree. He or she turned round and round so the Park visitors could get the best pictures and help us celebrate the 100th anniversary of one of our most beautiful parks.
We are a lucky bunch to see some wild critters as well as our cute pets and to have you find pictures of both.
