I can appreciate this since my grandmother lived to almost 98 and I also knew her friends. We used to visit one of her oldest friends from childhood and they were a hoot, as well. Her friend was a couple of months older and I remember that once they had a friendly argument over who should have won the childhood Sunday School prize. The friend actually won it and since we were discussing it, she went and got it - it was a gold pin - to show us! I think they were both in their mid 90s at the time...
