I'm starting a new thread here in the Lounge. I will do it in honor of TexasTowelie.

Because yesterday afternoon, our son the rock star came hurrying up to us, having just come home from an errand, and announced that he heard BIRDIES in the nest again! Chirps and cheeps again. He thought we might have a new batch of hatchlings.

I could hardly believe it. So I hurried back outside with him and took a listen. After a few moments, sure enough - THERE THEY WERE! Couldn't see anything yet, but you could hear the little cheep-cheep-cheeps up in there! My husband and I went out to the grocery store for a bit and came back and I tested our theory again - and SURE ENOUGH!!! More little cheeps and chirps up in there! OMG!!!!!

I'm starting a new thread! No photos yet, obviously, but soon enough, 'eh? Mom's been a presence up there for awhile. Who knew she was sitting on eggs?

Stay tuned ... it's gonna be another two weeks of FUN!!!!
